Ward Village Unveils Plans for New Residences

Ward Village, a master-planned mixed-use development in Kaka'ako, has unveiled plans for two new mixed-use residences that will replace the Ward Centre shopping complex.

The first residence, will be located on the corner of Ala Moana Boulevard and Kamakee Street. It will feature 242 homes on 35 floors with 79 one-bedrooms, 98 two-bedrooms, 62 three-bedrooms and 3 four-bedrooms, a one-acre community park with pavilion, park-side restaurant seating, natural elements with native planting.

The second residence, will feature 148 homes on 33 floors consisting of  92 two-bedrooms, 48 three-bedrooms, 6 four-bedrooms and 2 five-bedrooms with integrated ground level retail.

Names for the buildings have not been revealed. 

The development of these new residences is part of Ward Village's ongoing transformation into a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood. In recent years, the development has added a number of new residential, retail, and dining options, including the Waiea, Anaha, Aeo, Ke Kilohana, Aalii and, most recently, Koula. Victoria Place, Ulana and The Park Ward Village are in development. Plans for Kalae have been approved, with Launiu and Mahana recently announced.

The addition of these new residences will further solidify Ward Village in Kaka'ako as a premier destination in Honolulu. The homes will be designed to take advantage of the surrounding natural beauty, with floor-to-ceiling windows, large balconies, and views of the ocean, mountains, and city skyline. The projects will also feature a number of amenities, including swimming pools, fitness centers, and amenity decks.

The development of these new residences is a sign of the continued growth and vitality of Ward Village. The projects will add to the neighborhood's already vibrant mix of residential, retail, and dining options, and they will help to make Ward Village a more attractive place to live, work, and play.
