ALIA Kakaʻako Nears Completion — And There’s More to Come
ALIA Kakaʻako Nears Completion — And There’s More to Come
The Kakaʻako skyline continues to evolve, and one of the neighborhood’s most anticipated new residential towers is getting noticeably closer to completion.
ALIA, developed by The Kobayashi Group, has officially topped off, marking another major milestone as construction progresses toward completion.
For anyone who regularly drives through Kakaʻako, the transformation is hard to miss. ALIA now rises prominently along Ala Moana Boulevard, adding another distinctive residential tower to an area that has changed dramatically over the past decade.
But the latest construction milestone may not be the only reason prospective buyers should be paying attention.
Something Else Is Coming
While I’m not able to share the details just yet, there is another ALIA announcement on the horizon that could be particularly interesting for buyers hoping to own a new home in Kakaʻako.
And for some buyers who may have previously assumed that a new residence at ALIA was outside their reach, this upcoming announcement may be worth a closer look.
For now, my advice is simple:
Get on THE LIST.
As with many new-construction opportunities in Honolulu, timing can matter. Learning about a release early gives prospective buyers time to understand the opportunity, organize their finances, review eligibility requirements if applicable, and be prepared before the rush begins.
Why ALIA Deserves Attention
ALIA is arriving at an interesting time for Kakaʻako.
The neighborhood has matured considerably, with new residential towers, restaurants, neighborhood businesses, parks and gathering spaces continuing to reshape the area between Downtown Honolulu and Ala Moana.
For buyers who want newer construction while remaining in Honolulu’s urban core, opportunities can be limited—especially when looking for something beyond the traditional luxury condominium market.
That’s one reason I’m watching what comes next at ALIA very closely.
Thinking About Buying in Kakaʻako?
If owning a brand-new home in Kakaʻako has been on your radar, now is a good time to start preparing—even before all of the details are publicly available.
Understanding your financing, your purchasing timeline and the different housing programs that occasionally become available in Kakaʻako can put you in a much better position when the right opportunity appears.
And sometimes, the most important first step is simply knowing that an opportunity is coming.
Get on THE LIST
We’ll be sharing more as soon as additional information can be made public.
